Loyola are thrilled that our temporary meeting spaces here at St. Matthew’s have become our new long-term home! They are now in a fresh five-year agreement with St Matt’s to use three of your rooms Monday through Friday. The spaces are ideal for our ministry of encouraging a loving and compassionate spirituality for all of life.
For nearly 50 years Loyola’s staff of professionals have provided spiritual conversations, workshops, and retreats designed to people and groups seeking to go deeper in their spiritual life and make a positive impact on the world. Our first home was in Mary Hall, the nurses residence for Saint Joseph’s Hospital (and the current Dorothy Day Center). In 1981 we moved to the old Rondo neighborhood and used the empty convent building on the property of St Peter Claver Catholic Church. To be here, now, fits perfectly with our history and the shape of our mission today.
Come meet us this Sunday after the service. Members from the Board and Staff will be available to introduce themselves and answer any questions about what we do and where we are heading.
Celebrate with us as we step into the next great phase of our ministry.
