Evensong in Honor of Michael Compton’s 40th Anniversary

You are invited to come celebrate on Wednesday, November 1 at 7:00 pm. The Rev. Christopher Rogers and the Parish Choir will offer a service of thanksgiving in observance of J Michael Compton’s 40th anniversary at St. Matthew’s. We will follow the order of service for Evening Prayer from the Book of Common Prayer. The choir, accompanied by organist Richard Day, will sing the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis as set by composer Charles Villiers Stanford, and there will be other musical offerings and the chanting of prayers. A reception will follow in the undercroft.
