CCEC

We will be the change

The Community Conversation Ecumenical Consortium (CCEC; holytrinitystpaul.org/community-conversation) was started among parishioners at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in 2017. The consortium organizes discussions designed to invite diverse members of the community to learn together in a safe environment about racism and its historical roots among us. Members of the consortium include: Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Hamline Church United Methodist, St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, St. Anthony Park United Church of Christ, and Luther Seminary. Most of the events are at Hamline Church United Mthodist.

The CCEC planning committee meets every month or two to organize community events, which are open to all. Some events are film screenings, while others are presentations; all events include some discussion. They also host a “Refresh and Renew” community gathering at Hamline Church each July.
