Youth Climbing Day

Sunday, May 29 (Memorial Day Sunday) is Ascension Sunday! To celebrate, families and youth are invited to “Ascend” at Vertical Endeavors in Minneapolis!

Kids in 6th+ grade are invited to join us with or without an adult. Families with kids in 5th grade and younger can join with an adult. We’ll be joining forces with St. Stephen’s Edina. Kids can use auto-belay systems to climb with a simple orientation and parent supervision. Maggie and Missy (the St. Stephen’s Children’s Minister) are belay certified and can use regular top ropes with kids of any skill level. The Minneapolis gym also has two small bouldering areas, a form of climbing on short walls with no ropes and lots of padding.

We’ll go to Vertical Endeavors Minneapolis after church on Sunday, May 29, arriving around 1pm. Learn all about VE’s rules, fees, and details here.
