Up & Autumn: Social Justice Ministry Fundraiser

Our Up and Autumn auction fundraiser is coming up quickly on Saturday, October 11! Please purchase your tickets for our only Social Justice Ministries fundraiser at this link: stmatthewsmn.org/up&autumn. Help us plan by purchasing your tickets now and getting this awesome event on your calendar. Early Bird auction items and activities will be available for families with young children at 5:30 pm, with the full auction beginning at 7:00 pm. People of all ages are welcome for the whole event, but the movie Up will be offered in the library for kids who might find that more enticing. Tickets are $10/person, $25/household. If cost is a barrier, please reach out to the Rev. Christopher Rogers; there are some tickets already sponsored.

Please also consider donating a service or good to be auctioned off at the fundraiser. Think of skills or hobbies that you enjoy, large and “small,” one-time or monthly/recurring. We have an amazing diversity of gifts among us! You might even consider joining forces on a larger dinner offering or shared child care afternoon. Some recent donations include a hot-dish or soup a month, custom knitting, babysitting, a beaded earring class, monthly quarts of homemade ice cream or pies/cakes, board game instruction, spiritual direction sessions, art supplies basket, and a gift certificate to the Guthrie Theater! See the table in the parish hall for the current list of donations on Sunday, and please reach out if you need ideas or have questions. Donations will be accepted until noon on Friday, October 10.
