Meeting Jesus

Our men’s group gathers twice a week to discuss getting to know the human side of Jesus, through prayer, sharing personal experiences and reading the Gospel. Most of us came away from these sessions with an awareness of the empathy of Jesus, his love for us, his compassion and commitment, his inclusiveness and his willingness to tell a tough truth when it is required. Our hope and prayer is that now that we have seen these characteristics of Jesus we can be better aware of our opportunities to practice them. Any guy in the parish who wants to attend is very welcome.

For the next few months, we will meet on the third Tuesday night at 7:00 pm and the fourth Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 pm.
