Jan Bros will be leading a special Advent Faith Forum, starting a little early on November 16 (no meeting November 30 or December 21). After exploring Advent’s meaning through the voices of Adventus: Joining a Hope that is Come video produced by Work of the People, we will continue by discussing the themes of Advent with the waiting stories of God’s creatures as told in the elegantly accessible book All Creation Waits by Gayle Boss. Daily reading from Boss’ book we will be asked in preparation for the gatherings on November 23, December 7 and 14.

No RSVP is needed but you should purchase the book (it’s available in hardcover or paperback). There is also a children’s edition that is a wonderful companion to any family’s journey to Christmas. We will also have a copy you can look at in the library during the week.
