Choral Candlelight Christmas Eve Eucharist

Our late Christmas Eve service begins in the candlelit church at 10:00 pm, with prelude offerings from a small orchestra and carols from our Parish Choir celebrating Christ’s humble birth. The service follows at 10:30, including readings, a sermon from the Rev. Christopher Rogers, and communion, before closing in hushed tones as we light handheld candles for “Silent Night” accompanied by handbells. This year’s service will be bittersweet, as it concludes the tenure of our Music Director of 42 years J Michael Compton.
