On Thursday evening, March 26, 7:00 to 8:30pm, we will take a probing look at the place of Braver Angels’ work at St. Matthew’s, in the wake of the dramatic events caused by ICE in the Twin Cities. Are we even more polarized than we were before? Some think that bridge-building work is more important than ever at this time. Others feel that resisting injustice and threats to democracy is the first priority. Are the two positions incompatible? Does the theme of “courageous citizenship” recently adopted by the national Braver Angels movement provide resources as we tackle these tough questions? All are warmly invited to attend.
