All-parish Retreat

St. Matthew’s invites everyone connected to our church to join us for an All-Parish Retreat this Saturday, November 23, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, in our Parish Hall. The retreat will be led by Christine Luna Munger, the director of the Episcopal House of Prayer. We will practice deep listening and intentional responding as a community, which are foundational skills of discernment, to engage in a cycle of contemplative dialogue that prompts us to reflect on where we have been together as a church, where we would like to be, and what the many messy steps in-between those two realities might possibly be. The day will include input from the facilitator, time for personal reflection, small group work, and large group conversation.
