Family Climbing Day

Cost: $20 admission and $12 rental package**

Come hang out and try something new at Vertical Endeavors Minneapolis on Sunday, December 12! You can be brand new to climbing and still have fun. Minneapolis has a series of short and tall walls that make it easy to start where you feel most comfortable. This is a great indoor activity and climbing gyms have lots of space and air return, making this a fun and safe way to blow off steam.

Youth in grades 6+ may attend without a parent. Families with younger children are welcome to come as a family. Please RSVP early, because I may have the ability to get a discount for a larger group. Parents who do not want to climb, but just help their kids use the automatic belay systems can also enter as spectators for a reduced fee. If you have never been to a VE before, I may be able to get you free admission with my ‘bring-a-friend’ pass. Waivers and the like are required so this is why RSVPing early is also helpful.

The rental package includes a harness, chalk and shoes. Harnesses are required and shoes are highly recommended (by me, it’s really game changing), chalk is nice to have but not a huge deal. If you just want the harness it’s $5.
