April 1 Discussion of the upcoming Minnesota “Marriage Amendment” and how to have respectful dialogue around difficult issues with those who have different views from us. Presentation and discussion led by Dr. Mark Osler, Professor of Law, University of St.Thomas.
Peter Thomson Will Retell Passion Story April 1 Parishioner and professional actor Peter Thomson will once again bring to life Mark's account of Christ's Passion during the 10:30 am service on Palm Sunday, April 1. Peter and his wife, dancer and choreographer Jan Puffer, are longtime parishioners who have blessed us with their many artistic gifts. Peter has performed with the Guthrie Theater since 1998 and most recently appeared in Charley's Aunt this past winter.
**Holy Week Services**
Maundy Thursday April 5 at 7 pm with Taize music, communion, footwashing and stripping of the altar. Middle Eastern-style agape meal (potluck) at 6 pm.
Good Friday Stations of the Cross April 6 at 7 pm. Includes choral and instrumental meditations from around the world and congregational singing. There is also a 12:00 noon liturgy with reading of the Passion and communion from the reserved sacrament.
Easter Service Sunday, April 8 at 10:30 am.
