faith for life class
For children in grades 3 and 4, we offer a similar approach to Godly Play, but geared toward older elementary students. The education hour includes Old and New Testament stories (with an introduction to the use of the Bible), wondering/discussion time and hands on activities. This year we will dedicate part of our response time to letting the children create their own skits based on bible stories. Other activities include service learning, art, storytelling and music.
Living Faith is a monthly gathering which brings together adults and children (every 2nd Sunday) in the parish hall. Sessions have included explorations of healing prayer, communion bread baking and a Posada procession.
